Project value: $50,000.

@pac_roberts @CityofVancouver @VSB39 FUNDED PROJECT: Sidewalk replacement and repairs at six locations in the West End to remove tripping hazards and enhance safety. This project is designed to improve neighbourhood mobility for those who use walkers and wheelchairs. Project value: $30,000.

FUNDED PROJECT: Supported by @pac_roberts, the Christine Fretwell and Kathryn Gibbons Memorial Gift to West End Students is donation for sports and/or music equipment which will be distributed using simplified participatory budgeting model. Project value: $20,000.

The @WestEndBIA in conjunction with the @CityofVancouver are seeking input on a proposed parklet at the current westbound bus station at Davie & Jervis. We will be providing space for community members to be consulted on this proposal. Please join us on Feb 11 from 10am-12pm.

After some snow day setbacks, our wonderful Clean Team staff are back out on the streets keeping the West End free from litter. Last year the Clean Team went out in all weather to collect over 1,338 bags of garbage. If you see them be sure to say a big hello!

This is a reminder that GNH and both Attic Thrift Store locations will be closed for the holidays starting from Dec. 23rd to Jan. 1st. Please enjoy the #holidays as we will be too! GNH will re-open bright and early at 9AM on Thursday, January 2nd 😄

The Attic Thrift Store on Davie will be closed all day on Thursday, December 19th due to a scheduled power outage and hydro upgrades in the area. The Attic Thrift Store located upstairs in GNH will be opened if you were planning to do some thrift shopping!
