A serious situation in Uummannaq, North Greenland 🇬🇱 The power plant is on fire, and the entire town is now without electricity. Thoughts are with the emergency services and all affected residents. There are three primary fish processing plants in Uummannaq. The town’s business sector is strongly centred around fishing, and the plants handle the processing of the town’s rich catches, primarily Greenland halibut.
