This is probably what Rhaegar vs Robert looked like to a regular man-at- arms during the battle of the Trident

@GennHutchison I’m offended when you talk about things I don’t know anything about.
Except gaming.
B/c I know everything about gaming.

@Baconbrix @hauke_schnau @Hiteshdotcom @expo @adamwathan Even if Expo gets full spec compliance with the web, worst case scenario is having all the features of the web available but deciding which ones to include in your bundle according to your app requirements. That would be awesome.
English

We have a long way to go before spec compliance with the web.
Most of the sluggishness of mobile web comes from the event system that was designed around different pointer events (cursor instead of touches).
In Expo, we primarily use touch-based gestures/native views and don’t have the same event bubbling as the web.
I like to think of an expo app as having two layers for views—
1. The navigation/chrome which is built with Expo Router and extremely native-driven. This is akin to the native browser chrome.
2. The content inside each route which is choose-your-own-adventure and lends itself better to native CSS / custom design themes. This is akin to the web contents in a page.
When you look at an app like ChatGPT or Apple Clocks, both have similar native chrome with bespoke custom style for the scrollable part of the page. This structure gives you the best of both worlds imo.

It’s high time that @expo should talk to @adamwathan and get tailwind support directly.
We all love tailwind but configuration from third party is such a nightmare.
Life would be so easy with:
bun install tailwind
bunx tailwind init
N it works with expo 😎

@SabrinaSGCH Me pasó exactamente igual!
