I remember the comms being really odd when WC reviewed it. Personally didnt think there was enough in it and Sclaes throws himself down, kind of similar to the Gassama penalty way back at the start of the season. WC thought they both were though.

The Scales incident was... odd. They saw it, said there was a clear pull, impactful area etc, built themselves up to calling for an OFR and then just... didn't 😂

@celtic_thoughts @NJJarvie I meant any time the guys in the VAR centre carry out a check, not necessarily needing the ref to review it. If I remember correctly VAR official reviewd the Sclaes incident but didnt think there was enough in it?

@Gorgie_Chants @NJJarvie I guess the issue becomes, again using Scales as an example, VAR wasn't used for that, so should it be reviewed? WC thought it was a clear error, KMI panel didn't touch it.

@celtic_thoughts @NJJarvie Yeah definitely some significant gaps. Would be better if WC reviewed every call KMI declared incorrect plus anything he disagreed with them on. KMI should be covering every use of VAR.

From memory, Liam Scales vs Hibs at Celtic Park, held in the box, WC reviewed it and said it's a clear penalty, KMI panel didn't cover it 🤷🏻♂️

If you go with KMI decisions this season, (and assuming Hearts scored the penalty in Well game) they’d be 1pt worse off (dropping 2pts against rangers and 1 against Saints) while Celtic would be 2pts worse off (from Well game) meaning Celtic win league by 1 pt. Why the outrage?

So, it’s now confirmed that Hearts were cheated out of a league title. I’m glad the club are working with FIFA and the SFA statement shows nothing more than panic. Scottish football needs Hearts to keep going and ensure Celtic and the SFA are fully exposed.
