We have our sectionals short list! These 19 Watertown Goslings will make the trek to Beaver Dam this Friday afternoon with a chance at State at UW-LaCrosse in their sights!

We are far from done on the diamond this spring. @WttnBaseball will have two more home games this week, and we have our travel plans booked for the playoffs next Tuesday! Next we meet, it’ll be tomorrow at 5pm at Washington Park against Hartford! See you then, WuTown!

This softball program will be back in full thrall next spring, and we can’t wait to cheer them back on the next time they take the field, and we know Gosling Nation and all of Watertown will have their backs as always!

We want to wish these nine girls all the best in the future whether that be continuing their softball careers at the next level or at college and in the classroom! Riley, Ava, Aubrey, Lexi, Emily, Allison,Olivia, Cali, and Elle… THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

But now, it’s time we give our senior players one last time in the limelight. They went down fighting until the bitter end today. They have left their mark on this amazing softball program and have captivated this city’s hearts many times over! Let’s hear for our 2026 seniors!

This senior group… what a résumé. Conference championships, regional titles, sectional golds, and a pair of trips to State. This class of 2026 will be one for the ages. They’ll go down in annals of Gosling softball history as one of the most decorated senior classes ever!

Win or lose, we’re proud to call these girls our own. We’ve seen them grow up, we’ve seen them battle in all kinds of sports, we’ve seen them fall—but above all—we’ve been blessed to have seen them succeed time and time again. This group of girls are truly special.

It’s never a fun feeling leaving the ballpark when it’s this eerily quiet. It’s a haunting sight that all of us Gosling softball fans don’t want to deal with. It sucks. It hurts. Playoff loses are part of the game, and we accept that. We lost fair and square today.

Watertown is behind the 8-ball and in dire need of a rally. Oconomowoc struck for three backbreaking runs and takes a 4-1 lead into the bottom 7th. Watertown will send out 9-1-2. Bust out the rally caps, everyone.

Back-to-back hits to start the top 7th for Oconomowoc has the Raccoons with a 2-1 lead and nobody out.

Watertown works a 2-out walk, but they can’t come through this time. Oconomowoc and the Goslings are tied 1-1 as we head to the top 7th.

Someone is going to advance to the regional finals in their last at-bat today. Oconomowoc ties the game on a 2-out RBI double, so we’re even 1-1 as we play the bottom 6th. C’mon, girls! Let’s hit around for a bit!
