On September 20 I was in Cambridge at the Jim Staunton Memorial Symposium. Scarily it is 30 years since I completed my PhD with Jim. I learned so much from my time at Cambridge and Jim was an excellent scientist and supervisor who became a lifelong friend and mentor.
