The problem with the comm now, is people think if you're not an OG you're cheating, if you are an og you have to block out new people, there's TikTok sniping Clans turning into Teams, times are different the YouTube era has changed, the comm hasn't died, the people around it just turned too cocky, people play selfish and don't play like we used to, I remember 6 stack sniping had legitimate rules that while we were roasting each other we actually followed 🤣🤣 my boys in Air we'd run crazy stacks for trickshotting and sniping, dreaming of becoming the biggest around same thing with Onyx, and this comm is too closed off now, people genuinely believe everyone is cheating and that's because too many people actually are. You got 2boxxers which, idc if you do, but that is lobby manipulating, locked lobbies was a thing in old teams for hacked up cods when a new cod came out because everyone knew the cheaters went rampant the moment Activision stopped caring about a cod. There's been cheating in cod for years and honestly if I'm being real I think the fact we just let it slide now is disappointing the comm accountability is gone and that's one of the things that is making things stupid, one of my old Onyx guys asked me if 6ons were the standard in bo7, LIKE UNLESS YOU 2BOXXING/Reverse boosting, or lobby manipulating YOU AIN'T HITTING 6ons like crazy, and we gotta stop slamming standards to hell, it's pushing people away, bo1 and bo2 hitting a quadfeed and a triple head was good and bring back quality editing and content, I love the rock don't get me wrong, but the new generation of cod players won't. You want it back make it watchable for them, make your montages flashy, don't make them super dark edgy shit like your 13 trying to feel goth, bring back pop montages that brought up random artists nobody had heard of before we made montages, bring back 1000s of teams making vids weekly, recruiting challenges, 10s of thousands of players going for them and appclips, promos, effort and start giving people a reason to want to join, because I'm not gonna lie, without Scope we'd be in a really bad spot as a community. SoaR is big and doing well for sure, but nobodies growing past maybe 5k views on a montage now, I've yet to see a single team besides SoaR really have enough views for the videos to really even show some community growth in years tbh, most teams are barely dropping 3k views on a teamtage and I'm not talking X views either because it's obviously not bringing any views to the tiktok scene or the YouTube/twitch scene the reason creators haven't grow in years in the cod scene as trickshotters and snipers, the scene is dying a good bit, and honestly it's the comm itself. There's no hype to be brought in new games. Nobody tries like they used to, yes the game is harder of course and it takes a lot more skill now, but it's kinda sad that every corner is an excuse to say the new cod sucks, trickshotting is nice on this game, I played with @MyolLife for like 5 hours trying to keep a 6 stack sucked The com is giving up on new cods way too easy thats the problem we just run back to what we know and don't move on.
