@shogglastresort @Shinion_Dragon @FrothyFriar They were divine when introduced in 1e because to become one you had to be a triple class level 5-9 fighter/level 5-9 thief/druid, thus using the druid spell list. When they were made a core class they used the wizard spell list because it opened the concept up thematically.
