Well done to the Goulburn High Robotics teams who competed at Regionals earlier this week. Goulburn High, won the Teamwork Challenge, Individual Skills, Design and High School Excellence Awards. The primary school team won the Elementary School Excellence and Judge's Awards.

Congratulations to Ella and Lilly for their success at the recent Australian Snowsport Interschools Championships. The pair competed in the teams event of the Division 1 Female Ski Slopestyle and finshed third. Ella was also awarded Best Performance in the same division.

Yesterday a few of our GHS students visited GoodStart Early Learning Goulburn for National Science Week. Our students ran through a few different experiments with the children who had a great time and loved learning new things. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

Last Friday, four students from the Support Unit took part in a disability bowling day, held at the Highlands Entertainment Centre in Mittagong. The students performed brilliantly, taking home the win for Goulburn High School. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

Congratulations to our Year 9 debating team who are through to the knockout stage of the Premier's Debating Challenge. Earlier this week they had a win over Moss Vale High. The topic was: That voting should be voluntary, with GHS arguing the affirmative. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

Earlier this week our Year 9 debating teamtook part in their next round of the Premier's Debating Challenge Their topic was: That we should ban alcohol and gambling companies from sponsoring sport. Goulburn argued the negative but unfortunately didn't come away with the win. #GHS

Last week some of our Year 7 students learnt about archaeology and what archaeologists do. As part of this investigation into archaeology they undertook a cookie excavation activity where they had to excavate the chocolate chips with a toothpick. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

Our Year 7/8 B debating team came up against some tough competition yesterday in Yass and Moss Vale High Schools. While they didn't get a win, they presented some excellent points and made it a tough job for the adjudicators to pick a winner. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

Last week, we hosted a Robotics Scrimmage. It was a successful day for GHS, with two of our teams finishing first and second. Our transition team also competed against the high schools and finished in third. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

To celebrate National Tree Day, Goulburn Mulwaree Mayor Peter Walker joined our school leaders earlier this week to plant a tree in our Aboriginal garden. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

Today we held our Term 2 Recognition Assembly to celebrate the achievements of our students this term. Congratulations to all our award winners and thank you to family and friends who attended. Well done to our Year 9 and 11 Dance classes for their fantastic performances. #GHS

Today we held our NAIDOC Week assembly here at Goulburn High. This year's theme is For Our Elders. A huge thanks to Australian boxer Jamie Pittman for attending to speak to our students as well as Dion and Phil for their amazing dance performances. #GHS

Congratulations to Alicia who was part of the South Coast team that competed at the NSW CHSSA Hockey Championships. The South Coast made it all the way through to the final but went down in the gold medal match 3-1 against the North Coast. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn

The Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) project for our basketball court is underway. We're excited to get this project up and running and can't wait to share the finished result. #GHS #LoveWhereYouLearn
