A highlight of every summer at @GovHouseBC is hosting more than 1000 Indigenous students for new school supplies, a BBQ lunch and lots of fun at the Back to School Picnic, in partnership with the Victoria Native Friendship Centre and Surrounded by Cedar Child & Family Services.

Join us at Government House on August 10 from 10 am until noon for Get Growing! This community initiative helps distribute free vegetable, herb and edible flower seedling varieties for the novice gardener and suitable for a variety of locations. Available as supplies last.

This evening between 5-7 pm, lines will be repainted on the driveway at the entrance and exit gates at Government House. Throughout this time, gates may be closed to allow paint to dry. The grounds will still be accessible through the alternate gates along Rockland Ave.
