No matter how small your contribution was, it is always pleasing to see a school you worked with receive an outstanding all areas Ofsted report.

An 'in person meeting' this afternoon with a CoG to help them with their action plan following my External Review of Governance at their school. Samples of visit forms were also shared. I will be attending their away day next month.

Easing back to governance with a shortlisting zoom meeting as we are seeking an additional member of the MAT central team.

A successful morning discussing my External Review report with a head and chair ahead of their strategy day which I will attend. Do get in touch if I can help you to reflect as a board.

@GovPurple Make the most of training and support offered. No question is stupid. Sometimes a simple question is a good reminder for other governors and stimulate discussion that could lead to positive changes.

What would be your best advice for a new governor? I am developing some slides for a board.
