Also I didn't say they were the first to come up with the idea of Superman and Lois having a kid, so not sure why you mentioned that.

@Atom128312 @The4thTurtleNyC The kid was always Clark's and it's never implied anything else. It was just a nixed idea (from pre-2017 storyboards/plans). I remember him talking about it in an interview.
But here's an excerpt from a vanity fair article talking with Zack, reiterating this.
