This afternoon I hosted my good friend @AtwoliDza Francis Atwoli, COTU Secretary General and Hon. James Oyoo, MP Mhoroni for a courtesy call in Nairobi. We discussed a wide range of issues of national interest.

I thanked them for their personal donation of 5,000 face masks to the people of Homa Bay County.

This afternoon I hosted Dr. Julius Jwan, PS for Vocational&Technical Training and Dr. Francis Owino, PS for Industrialisation. They committed to support Homa Bay in enhancing vocational and technical training institutions and reviving of cotton industry respectively.

Today I joined my colleagues in a consultative meeting of National Development Implementation and Communication Cabinet Committee and Council of Governors. We deliberated on the implementation of President's Big Four Agenda and the status of devolution.

I join fellow Kenyans in mourning the death of our former President Daniel T. Arap Moi. Mzee Moi remains in the history of Kenya and Africa at large as an exemplary and a dedicated leader. May God give comfort to his family. Rest in eternal peace Mzee.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Hon. Esther Dwallo, nominated member of Homa Bay County Assembly; it is such a painful loss for the people of Homa Bay. May God comfort the family, friends & members of Homa Bay County Assembly during this difficult period.

It is with great sadness that I have learned of the death of my colleague H.E Dr. Joyce Laboso, Governor Bomet County. My sincere condolences to the family, friends and the people of Bomet County. May our good Lord rest her soul in eternal peace.

I strongly condemn this act of cowardice and request the people of Homa Bay to keep calm while the security agencies investigate this matter with speed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Dony. May God Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.

I am grateful to the Mayor for his offer of donating water equipment to Homa Bay County.

We agreed to form a partnership that will include an exchange program between Homa Bay County and Bodman Ludwigshafen that will have our water experts trained and share experiences in water infrastructure for Kenya and Germany respectively.

Held meetings with Mayor Matthias Weckbach of Bodman Ludwigshafen in Germany, we shared our experiences on urban water infrastructure. The mayor demonstrated how their lake based drinking water supply system from Lake Constance supplies the federal state of Baden-Wurttenmberg.
