In Virginia, we aren’t just talking about rising energy bills. We’re getting to work. I am bringing on the first-ever Chief Energy Officer — a cabinet-level position to focus on addressing high energy costs and moving Virginia into our energy future.

Today, I am creating a new position in my administration focused on tackling high energy costs — Virginia's Chief Energy Officer. As Virginians across the Commonwealth are feeling the squeeze of rising bills, we are working to deliver affordable, reliable energy.

Great news! The Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project — the largest in the country — is delivering reliable energy to Virginia!⚡️

I voted YES on Virginia’s redistricting referendum. Virginia’s approach preserves our bipartisan redistricting process for the future. It also responds to other states that are catering to a President who says he’s “entitled” to more seats in Congress. 🗳️ Vote by April 21.

Yesterday, I met students at Southside Virginia Community College who are training to serve their neighbors. 
Virginia is building our next generation of healthcare professional through programs like this one in Brunswick County.

Programs like these help high schoolers earn an Associate Degree by the time they graduate.
 
I'm focused on making sure that more Virginia students have the same kind of opportunities.

I spent time at Southside Senior Citizens Center in Brunswick to discuss how we can best serve and support our older neighbors. Senior centers help Virginians stay healthy, active, & connected to their communities as they age. I’m committed to keeping them strong for the future.
