Saddened and shocked to learn that Dr Ketan Bhatikar is no more. His untimely death has taken away a good leader who never relented in the struggle. His compassion and empathy towards people will always be remembered. I wish strength to the bereaved family.

Today, the Cabinet approved the State Library Policy. The state library policy was drafted with the immense efforts of the steering committee headed by Prof. Nandakumar Kamat and eminent members such Hema Naik and others. This was one of the important policy decisions during my tenure as Art & Culture Minister. I congratulate the Chief Minister @DrPramodPSawant for this milestone for public library movement in our state.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Asha Bhosle ji, a timeless voice who defined generations of Indian music. Her melodies will forever echo in our hearts. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family and admirers worldwide. We have lost a true legend.
