@WhatsOnStage It was probably a local pantomime although I do recall an epic visit to London to see Tommy Steele & Mary Hopkin at the Palladium - probably in Dick Whittington. We had 'standing' tickets but my brothers and I sat on the steps when the staff were not looking.
