When writers write characters they look at “what purpose does he have in my story” “how can I write him in to achieving the purpose”
If we go by ur definitions Chocho,Shikadai,Inojin are garbagly written characters and ikemoto should be ashamed for having put them in his story smh🤬what a garbage writer.
Those 3 have their role in the story that they play which is why they are well written
