Public schools give so much to so many. This is why our state constitution states they must be “equally open to all.” If a school takes taxpayer dollars, the student admission process should be transparent, open to all, and held accountable to such standards.
@suptdrmccormick They are taking away emergency permits……soooooo no solution just a continuos burden on public education. So, higher caseloads and larger class sizes must be their solution?!

The degree to which each state forced SEL to become a “naughty word”, forcing schools to rename it or not-name it at all, is a direct reflection of the state’s commitment level to mental health for all.
