Welcome. You will have plenty of questions to answer. We take our digital sovereignty seriously. Well done on finding ways to exist within South Africa’s regulatory frameworks. Well done on partnering with South African companies. All the best. We will be watching closely.

ITS RACIST to excl people by language and by extent skin color. Equating it to the Reed Dance is so stupid because none of that practice excludes people by language or skin. That’s a cultural practice. Afrikaans people didn’t come off the boat playing rugby, tennis and netball
Kallie Kriel@kalliekriel

Unfortunately, News24 once again insults Afrikaners by portraying our culture and cultural events as racist relics of apartheid. Cultural events are entirely normal. In South Africa, there are literally hundreds of cultural gatherings and events held within the country’s various cultural communities. These include, among others, the Zulu Reed Dance, initiation schools, festivals in traditional communities, the Jewish Maccabi sports weeks, Ramadan football tournaments and the Bokkieweek. None of these events is labelled as “black only”. In contrast, those who disrespect the dignity of Afrikaners, such as News24, continue to falsely reduce our culture to the evil concept of white only racism. AfriForum is proud to support cultural gatherings in the spirit of the constitutional principle of unity in diversity. We do so through cooperation agreements with traditional communities, as well as through AfriForum's sponsorship of the Mark Fish Foundation's football clinics in traditional communities and the Bokkieweek. News24 is also blatantly lying by labelling the Afrikaans song Die Lied van Jong Suid-Afrika as “the apartheid anthem”. This confirms that News24 does not hesitate to spread falsehoods in order to advance its anti-Afrikaner agenda. The Bokkieweek also creates a new opportunity for inclusion for young Afrikaners who have been excluded from SARU and other school tournaments due to stringent racial quotas in provincial school sport tournaments that are preoccupied with racial classification. AfriForum does not organise Bokkieweek. However, for the record, here are my answers to News24 when I was approached for comment: Dear Prega, Thank you for your questions. I am happy to respond as follows: In South Africa, there are literally hundreds of cultural gatherings and events held within the country's various cultural communities. These include amongst others the Zulu Reed Dance, initiation schools, other festivals in traditional communities, the Jewish Maccabi sports weeks, Ramadan football tournaments and the Bokkieweek. None of these events is ever labelled as "black only". In contrast, Afrikaner culture is insulted and disregarded by those that falsely reduces it to racist or "whites only" events. I also find it offensive that songs which have, over many decades, become part of Afrikaner culture are reduced by some to being apartheid songs and relics. Afrikaners, like all other communities in the country, have the right to practise and celebrate their culture through cultural events. For this reason, AfriForum and I will continue to promote cultural diversity in this way. The use of regional names for areas that do not correspond with current provincial boundaries is not an unusual phenomenon. The Bokkieweek also creates a new opportunity for inclusion for young Afrikaners who have been excluded from SARU and other school tournaments due to stringent racial quotas in provincial school sport tournaments that are preoccupied with racial classification. Kind regards, Kallie Kriel CEO: AfriForum

Not in our schools, why are Afrikaner people are like this?trying to take us backwards. What kind of people are like this? It is like they are possessed or something. Or the reason is because they are weak and the only way they can compete is when they are the only ones. These people can’t compete and they realise that, now they trying to come up with this bull?

School sports events exclusively for white Afrikaans children in our land? Afrikaner Volkseie Sport (AVS) has circulated a letter to schools announcing rugby, netball and hockey trials for a tournament called Bokkiesweek that is open only to white Afrikaner pupils. Minister @GaytonMcK this Bokkiesweek is nothing but a racist endeavour that is "a travesty of our democracy".

3500 white Afrikaner school children sung the apartheid anthem Die Lied van Jong Suid AFRIKA during the opening ceremony held recently in Limpopo. The teams compete against each other using the names of apartheid era provinces. Minister @GaytonMcK if this is not the reversal of our hard earned freedom then we’ve betrayed our cause.

The opening procession for Pope Leo XIV’s Mass in Lampedusa on the Fourth of July “I have not come to give speeches, but to celebrate the Eucharist, the supreme sign of Christ's presence among us,” Pope Leo said ahead of the Mass. “This is why we have gathered here: to draw from Christ the love that only He can give us, so that the world of today and tomorrow may be more human, for everyone.”

@matthew_sede @MHTSeminary It's like the school headmaster expelling that one ultradutiful kid who can't follow one of the new headmaster's rules because it contradicts the founding charter of the school, meanwhile the school is rife with kids smoking, drinking, sex in the gym - all no problem!

You’ll often hear the SSPX cite the excommunication of St. Joan of Arc. Once again, a misapplication of the Society. His Excellency explains.

@EricRSammons Opposing the Pope on some matters is ABSOLUTELY a badge of the GREATEST honour. The Pope should be deeply ashamed of some of the failings under his leadership.

I have deep sympathy for the Catholic father who has the option between an SSPX chapel and a diocesan parish with an anemic spiritual life. I don't pretend his choice is easy. I have zero sympathy for online chuds who think opposing the pope is some type of badge of honor.

The only thing the SSPX proved last week is that they can be defiant and disobedient even when the pope gives them unprecedented favor in the Church. I know the SSPX think they will one day be welcomed back into the Church as an organization. I don’t think so. Pope Benedict XVI lifted the original 1988 excommunications and opened dialogue with the SSPX. Pope Frances granted them faculties, recognizing their sacraments of matrimony and confession. Pope Leo XIV maintained this standard and signaled openness to eventual regularization. Then, in the face of all this, and after multiple warnings, the SSPX committed the exact same act that got them excommunicated in the first place back in 1988. No pope can ever trust them again. And this is why I believe all dialogue with this organization (as an organization) is over. They have gone into schism for a thousand years (like the Orthodox). They’re so stubborn about it, they won’t even recognize the excommunications as valid. This is why I think it’s over. Henceforth, SSPX clergy have the FSSP to go to when they’re ready to submit to Rome. SSPX laity are free to come back to any jurisdiction in the Church they want. Until then, they all remain outside of the Church, excommunicate and in schism.

@poperespecter1 That one boy, full uniform, knows school song by heart, memorises founding charter, addresses headmaster as “Sir” terrifyingly sincerely, then: “Sir, with deepest respect, I cannot obey this instruction because it contradicts the school’s founding statutes.” Headmaster: GET OUT!
