We don't have a consistent definition or expectation of coaching in Westford. we really need to work on that. I'm not sure that teachers really know what to expect from coaches. We focus on new teachers at the start of the year. #educoachMA

#educoachMa Just finished reading Cathy Toll's Survival Guide, read parts of The Art of Coaching by E. Aguilar. Meeting with my supervisor tomorrow to work on how to define my role to staff. I am part interventionist and part coach.

@kclery @globalearner @elkanj Explicit teaching, modeling, practice, clear feedback, and goal setting is critical in making any shifts.

@kclery A responsibility in being role models to those younger, and a concrete model for the little ones to aspire to!
