@GraceRuth44 oh, definitely. but among, say, uhhh, 20-something journalists who tend to see themselves as relatively immune from such stuff, she's also more popular than one would expect. which is weird.

I'm sold on Taylor Swift being good at music and writing very good songs that are easy to like. It isn't weird she's popular. It *is* weird that she's soooo popular among certain subsets of ppl who otherwise seem to not unanimously adore stuff that is like TS.

An update: My one-year contract role with @CBCNews has been cut short after 5 months, due to budget cuts, and will officially end on Jan. 29.
I'm grateful to have had the chance to tell impactful stories on a national level and to work with some really great people.
