This morning, the independent Indecon Report titled “Assessment of Economic and Social Impacts of Inter-County Gaelic Football, Camogie and Hurling Players in Ireland” has been published. See some of the key findings here.

Inter-county players generate €591m, support 4,212 jobs & €62m for the Exchequer. Players now €1,499 more out of pocket annually vs 2018. Interesting read on the sacrifices players make. Read more: x.com/gaelicplayers/…

‼️ CLUB STATEMENT‼️ Last Sunday during our Men’s team’s Championship game vs St. Joseph's OCB Dublin one of our players suffered a cardiac arrest. CPR was started immediately, a defibrillator was used, emergency services were called & the player was brought straight to hospital.

A @gaelicplayers spokesperson told RTE the agreement was that the players would wear the #UnitedForEquality t-shirts. That’s what players agreed. They then decided it would be a choice between changing out of t-shirts on pitch or return to dressing rooms.
