When I was in school, whenever it is Salah, the class WhatsApp group is always filled with Eid Mubarak, Eid Kabir and other good wishes from Christians.
When it is Christmas or Easter, the group is greeted with deafening silence.
Nobody bothers to wish us Happy Christmas or Easter.
They'll bring Salah meat for us, we'll eat.
We don't even bother returning to school with Christmas or Easter Chicken, because nobody will eat from us.
It baffles me a lot. I wonder if it's a taboo.

Andrea Clarice Davis, 38, drove to Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill shortly after midnight and opened fire on her husband, Nolan Davis, and a 36-year-old woman he was with
The woman was shot in the back of the head while trying to flee in her car, but survived
After the shooting, Davis texted her husband saying she was going to hurt their children and sent him a photo showing one of them bleeding from the head
Officers found Davis dead alongside her two children, 10-year-old Austin and 18-month-old Andolan

I fired a domestic staff member 3 weeks after employment. She would go about braless in transparent tops or use black tape on her nipples. My husband is around, mind you. I told her to wear decent outfits, but it kept getting worse, so I sacked her. My best friend said I should’ve bought her a uniform and that it was an irrational action. Should I have done that?

Billonaire businessman Chief Godwin Chinedu Adimike was reportedly murdered at his Number 3 Hassan Adamu street, Guzape Abuja by his 21 year old son, who is currently a service NYSC member, on Friday May 15 2026. He was stabbed multiple times by his son after a heated argument. His son confronted him of being stingy with money, citing how some of his friends' fathers, who were not as wealthy, buy cars for their children. The deceased on the other day, accused his son of being extravagant and mismanaging funds. Following the argument, his son stabbed him thrice, and he died at the spot. It was reported that on this fate ful day, his son had returned from club with two ladies on. And he killed his father in their presence. He's currently in police custody.
