As cities grow, so does the double/triple burden of malnutrition, but this is preventable. Housing must go beyond shelter to include food systems, WASH, and healthy urban environments where people thrive with dignity.

In our second session, Mr. Patrick Mugenyi CEO, Bethell Group has challenged our class of Next Generational Leaders to pay attention to key global issues such as; shift in world power , national wealth among others.
This is to help leaders to have an impact not only locally.

My key takeaway from the session, turned into a question, is, are we making decisions with the next Generation in mind or with a short-term benefit/satisfaction in mind? And attention to global issues broadens perspective, sharpens vision, and equips us to lead with foresight.

On Saturday during our Leadership & governance monthly physical class held at @MakerereLaw auditorium.
Prof. Vincent Chidemu Anigbogu challenged young leaders to adopt a vision & a servanthood based leadership style, so as to ably contribute to nation building.

Good nutrition at the household level, empowering mothers with health knowledge will break intergenerational cycles of NCDs.
Prevention starts at the table, not the hospital and therefore, we all ought to be change agents by adopting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness.
