@AndrewNixon22 @riverina_life Andrew we mowed off 7t wheat last few days with the x9 1000 demo and 50ft front. Cut off 200mm high and spread pattern was terrible. Very heavy between the axles and thin to nothing beyond 40-45ft. Is there anything you are doing to help with this. Spreading is the deal breaker.

Final results for wheat 9250 vs X9, 50t/hr avg vs 70t/hr avg yields equated to be the same. 40% more from the X9. If you went head to head in a paddock I think the X9 would be more again, we probably weren’t pushing it as hard as we should at the end, the ground speed was high.

@AndrewNixon22 What did you do to combat losses? We started ours in direct headed canola but only had 2 of the 4 separator cover plates available until tomorrow. 20 tonne an hour with losses to high, machine wants to eat heaps more but got to bring the losses down, not convinced 2 more cover

Final results for Case 9250/30 vs John Deere X9 in canola across the season. 15.7t/hr compared to 22.5t/hr. 40% more capacity to the X9. Both headers measured around 1% loss. Not the same size headers I fully understand, just putting the figures out.

@brodenholland Are they large samira beans or something smaller. JD suggest we should be using round bar for beans for cracking but I didn’t order them. Haven’t stripped our beans yet

Fabas are a go. X9 loving them, dry bean settings close, small small large concaves not cracking many big seperation area means we can run them slow and open. Happy with yield for first year trying, thinking our acidity throttle may need more attention

Yet another season of sweet looking crops in central Victoria. Feeling very thankful to God for this run of exceptional years. We’ve got a way to go before harvest I know, but it’s nice to have this potential! Old man’s still flabbergasted 😂 How’s your season looking?

My old man said to me yesterday, “boy, don’t expect another season like this for the rest of your life. They only come around every 10 years or so, and you’ve seen 5 in the last 6 years!” 😁🙏 I reckon it should go about 460 kegs/ha of heavy 😉

Fairly frustrated that we are still crapping on about these social issues whilst our infrastructure and industry is being eroded every year, but looking into this referendum coming up, we need to be looking into what we are voting for. This bloke echoed my thoughts.
The Other Side (Australian Vodcast)@OtherSideAus

Reminder for the day: YOU DO NOT LIVE ON “STOLEN LAND.” You live IN a society built by YOUR ancestors to which YOU ALL are indigenous if you’re born here. This society is built on EUROPEAN ENLIGHTENMENT values and BRITISH systems of government, society, law and economy that evolved slowly over centuries with much trial and error and blood spilt. It did NOT fall out of the sky. We are very very very lucky. We need to be FAR more appreciative and respectful of what we have inherited. We are blessed. The aboriginal ancestors were not an advanced civilisation and DEFINITELY would have had to have some form of colonisation by someone in the 18th century. Every aboriginal person alive today has access to more support from other Aussies (via taxation and wealth redistribution) than any other Australian. We are not a racist country. Goodwill to Aboriginal people is huge. Nobody owes anybody anything. We are all one commonwealth. Aboriginal people are already well represented politically and very well funded economically. If the above is news to you, it’s because our media, politicians, teachers and academics are doing a TERRIBLE JOB. The Voice is a scam. IT’s OK TO VOTE NO. It’s not racist. It’s anti-racist. VOTE NO.

Really happy with pulse nodulation and subsequent n fixation as observed in follow crops across my client base, with the exception of lentils. They are just sooks on acid soils in comparison to other pulses 🙄.

@Deere_Salesman At some point you would think a 6 billion dollar profit and a lack of after sales spending would bite them on the arse

On the road again, 303km walk, why? Well the basin plan is a flawed $13 billion national disgrace, raping our environment and wiping out our family farmers and communities. What’s worse is those implementing the plan known it!

All this talk about the 800k combine from Deere. My questions is... Does that include tracks and a 500 bushel grain tank?
