The #M6 remains CLOSED northbound between J39 #Shap & J40 #Penrith. Lane 3 (of 3) also remains closed southbound between J40 and J39. There are long delays of at least 60 minutes between J38 and J39. More info here - nationalhighways.co.uk/travel-updates…

#M6 #Cumbria closed northbound J39 #Shap - J40 #Penrith due to a collision involving a HGV that has overturned & come to rest on the central reservation. Lane 3 (of 3) also closed southbound J40 - J39. This is a seperate collision to the earlier collision at J39. More to follow
