Anecdotal evidence across my social feeds suggests these kind of incidents are being experienced regularly by many people. When address/location data is more accurate and readily available than ever, what gives?!

This week, #ParcelForce left a parcel intended for me *in* the wheelie bin of a completely different address. I only know because I proactively chased them, having received no notification of any delivery. If it had been bin day, it would've been in landfill by now.

Last week #DHL left a parcel intended for us at a completely different address, on a completely different street, unsecured and in full view on a main road. The contents were stolen. I only know this because the neighbour brought me the empty box.

@FrMatthewLC Goodness. The church only recently emphasising care for the poor of the world is quite the 'hot take', isn't it.

Claim: Christianity recently started emphasizing care for the poor & underprivileged. Evidence to the contrary: 1. Jesus: “If you want to be perfect, sell your belongings, and give to the poor” (Mt 19:21) 2. St. Basil the Great (300s) to rich congregants: "The bread in your cupboard belongs to the hungry; the coat unused in your closet belongs to the one who needs it; the shoes rotting in your closet belong to the one who has no shoes; the money which you hoard up belongs to the poor."

Have had the most incredible Sunday. First, celebrating Harvest Festival. Then, launching and leading our new Bubble Church with amazing volunteers and welcoming 25 people from young families. Finally, relaxing playing Sucker Punch's new RPG "Ghost of Yōtei." 🙏🏻 #Thankful
