Am I the only native Scot who finds the whole drunken Tartan Army in ill-fitting kilts, traffic cones on statues, baldy-heided politicians in Scotland tops, a bit embarrassing? Are we content that the country of Adam Smith, David Livingston etc should be portrayed this way? 😳🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As a part Scot I find the one way hate of England genuinely embarrassing, one of the greatest countries in world history, invincible soldiers, genius scientists and philosophers, finest folk music tradition in the world — but the “nationalism” is all about the victim mindset

Scotland should win the World Cup just for this alone.

I said once joking that it’s like the Scottish fans are trolling the English fans by being all funny and popular, especially back in the day when the patio chairs were taking a battering, and I might be right, some of them are raging 🤣
