@NickStevensHS Reminds me of a couple years ago when App State Athletics did a Jeep Raffle with $100 tickets. Months of promotion, coaching driving the Jeep around saying how awesome it was. Then the winner was a University employee working in the Admin building. People are still mad over it.

I enjoy sports gambling, but this is another example of how this can all go bad. When I worked at HSOT/Capitol Broadcasting, I wasn’t allowed to play the NC state lottery because the drawings were done out of an isolated studio in the TV station. I had nothing to do with it. But the appearance of a possibly conflict was enough to prevent employees (and I believe it included anyone who lived under the same roof as them) from participating.
