@self_pass @hockeybe Sounds like a problem created through a lack of consultation and communication. Ultimately the losers are the players which is a terrible shame. Strange they wait for a tournament like this to push back. Would prefer to see them tackle the bigger issues of the PRO League and 5s.

5/ The @GreenArmyHockey PR has been great to see and well done to @RTEsport for showing all the games. No doubt they will rue their set piece performances against Scotland and Spain in particular. This needs to be right for the Olympics.

4/ The GK position has become more and more influential over the last number of years. Blaak was immense all tournament long and was the biggest factor in the Dutch winning the men’s tournament.

1/ After watching the the @eurohockeyorg Championship there is no doubt the men’s international game is in great shape. Such a competitive tournament with all teams playing their part. Nothing between Netherlands, Belgium, England and Germany which will make for a great Olympics.
