🏥 New Clinical Building Completed at Birmingham Children’s Hospital 🏥 GRAHAM has completed the main phase of works for a major new clinical building at Birmingham Children’s Hospital for Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust - a significant milestone that will transform care for children and young people across the region. Awarded through @NHSEngland's ProCure23 framework, this three‑storey facility brings state-of-the-art clinical advancements, including: 🔹 An intraoperative MRI (iMRI) suite, fully funded by charitable donations, enabling real‑time imaging during surgery 🔹 Operating theatres and recovery facilities, boosting surgical capacity and reducing waiting times 🔹 A ground-water heat plant supporting sustainable energy use across the wider hospital site This was a technically challenging project due to its location within a live clinical environment, surrounded by operational theatres where the slightest vibration or noise could disrupt critical care. Supported by £70m of Milton Keynes City Council investment and a £15m Homes England grant, the project provides high‑quality, future‑focused housing for local families. 📢 GRAHAM appointed to deliver phase one of Hereford Bypass 📢 GRAHAM has been appointed by Herefordshire Council to undertake initial works on the Hereford Bypass scheme. The appointment marks a major step forward in the delivery of the long-planned infrastructure scheme, which will provide the first direct link between the A49 and A465 in the city. By diverting traffic away from busy urban routes, the scheme is expected to improve journey times and reduce pressure on roads, while supporting better air quality. We were delighted to welcome LVI girls to our Hillsborough head office for a school day with a difference. As part of the SistersIN Job Shadowing Programme, the students who had come from various schools across Northern Ireland, heard from our senior leadership team as well as several female leaders with ESG, HSE, IT, engineering, design, finance, legal and operational roles. Their interest and ambition was inspiring and by participating in speed mentoring sessions, it was great to see them exploring what future career paths might look like.
