Hello frens… Lucy’s mama here. Last year she was diagnosed with a very large heart base mass, it is slow growing and she has a chronic cough. She is not wanting to take her meds any more. I’ve tried peanut butter, cream cheese, steak/turkey bites, canned dog food. Any thoughts?

Dear X Family, Please RT my story ❤️ I’m just a number. And soon, I’ll be nothing at all. I don’t know much about the world outside this cage. It’s all I’ve ever known—cold, cramped, and sounds of others like me. I can’t remember when I was born, but I remember my mother. She was warm and soft, but they took her away before I even learned her smell. Now, it’s just me, surrounded by metal bars. I’ve heard stories, whispered through the cages. Stories of grass—soft and cool under paws, of breezes carrying scents of flowers, trees, and earth. I’ve never felt them, but sometimes I dream of them. In my dream, I run free, my ears flapping in the wind, the ground soft beneath me. But when I wake up, it’s always the same: the cold cage and the endless wait. I don’t know what’s waiting for me beyond these cages, but I can sense the fear in the others. The ones who go don’t come back the same, if they come back at all. I hear the word "lab" sometimes, but I don’t know what it means. All I know is that there are no toys, no warm beds, no kind hands to scratch behind my ears. Just needles, machines, and pain. I wish I could run. I wish I could smell the air like in my dreams. But here, I’m just waiting—waiting for them to take me away, to do whatever they want. I don’t understand why. I don’t know what I did wrong. I just want to feel the warmth of the sun, the softness of grass, and the love of a family. But I know, deep down, that I’ll never get that chance. The days blur together, and I wonder if this is all life is meant to be for someone like me. No love, no play, no family—just waiting in the dark until it’s my turn. Maybe, in another life, I could’ve been someone’s best friend, curled up on a couch, loved and cared for. But here, I’m just a number. Dear X Family, Please RT my story.❤️My name is Muffin. I don't understand why they did this to me. I did nothing wrong.  I was born inside Marshall BioResources (MBR), located at 5800 Lake Bluff Road North Rose, NY. They have 23.000 beagles waiting to be sold to testing labs. Many of these beagles are killed after being tortured. After a year of living inside MBR, I was sold to a testing lab in Pennsylvania. They conducted torture tests on me for three years. Luckily they never killed me. I was released through a rescue with 24 other beagles. I was completely broken. I don’t think anyone had ever seen me as bad as I was. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t look at anyone. Whenever someone came near, I would freeze, terrified. Sometimes, I would even fall over—my body so stiff with fear that I thought I might never move again. Five months of being afraid of what might happen next. Now a year has passed, and I do love my new family. I really do. I try to enjoy my life with them, and I’m getting better, but... when they pick me up, something terrible still happens. I can’t help it. I freeze. My body goes stiff, and slowly, I tilt my head back and open my mouth. I know what’s coming, and it terrifies me every time.I remember the tube, the feeling of it going down my throat. They called it oral gavage. I endured it over and over. It may have been years. My brain goes numb to block out memories. My mom sees me shaking She knows I'm having a flashback.
