Frankie is replacing Peace Proscovia who has taken the decision to focus on her coaching career and we are delighted that she will be staying in the Lightning family to coach our Nxt Gen and NPL teams. @Sporty6001 @Netballcoachnow Pretty difficult to justify both geographically or dumping University based teams, two of whom are multiple winners. Those outside the triangle who aspire are lost. Doesn’t seem to be growing the game more like contracting it. No point having an arena if it’s a quarter full🧐

@Netballcoachnow In fairness many football clubs utilise volunteers, but from the outside some decisions do seem strange, not least reducing the number of teams AND geographical foot print. Not many sports would ditch established teams for untried newcomers. Brave or unwise. Time will tell.

New professional era, players being paid, tickets in arenas £40, but we are still recruiting #volunteers to host home games. Make it make sense.
