Five-year CCGA3 outcomes in @JCOPO_ASCO show that cancers with a cancer signal detected result using a blood-based multi-cancer early detection (#MCED) test had survival consistent with matched SEER populations, including early-stage disease. The MCED test was likely to find clinically significant cancers without contributing to overdiagnosis. Today we announced that Bob Ragusa will retire as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2026. GRAIL’s Board of Directors has appointed the Company’s President, Josh Ofman, MD, MSHS, to serve as GRAIL’s Chief Executive Officer upon Ragusa’s retirement. Josh has also been appointed to serve on GRAIL’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. As we celebrate GRAIL’s 10th anniversary this week, we reflect on the experiences of patients like Walt who inspire us to continue driving our critical work in early cancer detection. Walt had no reason to be worried about cancer - he had no symptoms and felt completely healthy. But results from a multi-cancer early detection test led to a diagnosis of a rare and aggressive cancer. His doctors noted that his kind of cancer is not normally diagnosed until stage three or four, but he was fortunate to have been diagnosed at stage one. At GRAIL we are focused on a future where more cancers are found earlier, when they may be more treatable, and more patients have the chance for better outcomes. That vision — and the patients at the heart of it — is what inspires us to keep moving forward.

#KidneyCancer can be difficult to detect. Early-stage tumors often cause no symptoms, small masses likely won’t be seen or felt during a routine exam, and there are no recommended screening tests for people at average risk.
