With the change of seasons, more people are out walking, running, biking, etc… As a reminder, when you have your furry friend outside, make sure they are on a leash. If they are in the yard, make sure your fence is in good shape so they cannot escape.

In an effort to keep our roadways safe, the Grand Forks Police Department will participate in Distracted Driving Awareness campaign April 1st through April 30th. accomplish one very simple goal: to make our roadways safer.

As a reminder, it is against city code to set any animal free in the city, to include your own. Do not open anyone’s fence or enclosure to release an animal. Also, if you live out of town, do NOT bring your unwanted animal into the city and release it. #GFPD #GrandForksFinest
