@InTheLittleWood If you remove the filler and the extra openings and endings from the original, it's almost smack bang the same. 300 minutes will take you close to chapter 50.

How does this weigh up time duration wise compared to the original anime?

@TotalCadenza I usually try not to have them covered, but I don't try very hard. The human brain will have completed the word before anyone consciously registered the time. The most important part to read is "Void Century Tech-" which gives you the idea.

@GrandLineReview Hey Liam! Quick thumbnail question. When you create thumbnails, do you typically try to avoid putting words where the timestamps go, or do you typically ignore it and trust that the viewers looking at the thumbnail will fill in the blanks automatically?

@the_rjmurray @G0ffThew At the moment, it didn't happen. If it does happen, then it will happen. Right now, it has not happened. If it happens, I'll be happy to say that it did. It has not happened though, so that's what I've got to judge it by.

@GrandLineReview @G0ffThew We can't possibly know that until it did or didn't happen. That's how memes work. There hasn't been a meme "yet". I think a lot of people are liking Chopper a LOT though. He might break through as he did in Japan as a merchandise superstar.

@G0ffThew This is gonna sound stupid, but OPLA also doesn't have any meme power. Shows that truly penetrate culture all have strong meme power. There's no OPLA "You know nothing Jon Snow" that gets embedded into the cultural lexicon.

@G0ffThew Idk. OPLA gets talked about for a week when a season releases and then it blinks out of existence until the next one. It's fun, but disposable. There's no way it has the impact of a GoT, a Severance ect...

Barbara Troy, my mother, is a One Piece character now 💙🏴‍☠️ Be sure to pause on the newspaper in One Piece Season 2 Episode 5 to see an on-screen "One Piece-ified" tribute to my mother's life. My mom bought me my first volume of #OnePiece in 2003 and watched as I maintained being a fan over the years. She knew exactly what the story meant to me and got to see the first season air, loved it, wore T-shirts supporting the show, and was sure to tell anyone who came into her bar to watch every episode and get ready for Season 2 to see what her son was helping write. I have no doubts that I gravitated to One Piece precisely because of her, because I admired how inclusive Eiichiro Oda's story was for differently abled people. It was the first story I saw with characters that had parental figures like mine. See, my mother lost her leg and mobility in her arm when I was young, but just like all of the strong-willed characters in One Piece who continually push, smile, and laugh through adversity, Mom never gave up. Even when told straight to her face, she'd never walk again. In the same way "never" and "no" wouldn't work for Luffy, Barbara Troy learned to walk again-- and even dance, but most important of all, she laughed. A lot. Whenever I'd be feeling down, I'd look to her, see her smiling through everything, and it would put me back on track. She inspired me the same way Luffy and the Straw Hats inspire others, and I'm so proud to see her name up there. I know she'd get a real kick out of it. I sure do. Special thanks to the showrunners for offering me this space to honor her, easily one of the most generous and meaningful acts anyone has ever done for me, not only in this business, but ever. And the biggest thanks of all will (of course) always go out to Mom, whose immeasurable love, support, and determination were always my compass-- and even though those don't work in the Grand Line, I've got an Eternal Pose now that points right to her. 😁🏴‍☠️💙

@OPLAUPDATES I know. Robin says "army", which got my expecations up. However the reason why I said five dudes is because it ended up being five dudes.

It’s actually kind of crazy how the live action made Wapol’s Devil Fruit way more powerful. Why is he out here eating people, fusing them with metal, and turning them into distorted walking weapons to build an entire army. What are your thoughts on this change? #OnePieceNetflix

This is the kind of trash I see when I wake up. *This* is why animation staff unfollows you people. Leakers *ruin* the experience the artists try so hard to deliver. We WANT sudden surprises during official releases and leakers RUIN it for us. Leakers are DISCRACES to fandoms.
