I think controller's aim assist could be a significant part of why Steam players are setting down Marathon. I said the same thing regarding Halo Infinite, though. I'd hate to present a personal pain point as something more widespread and potentially mislead people. I'm also stuck between caring a lot about Marathon and being a designer on a different game. It feels like overstepping when I want to post my thoughts, but it feels like silence isn't really right, either. I'm not worried about Marathon long term, though. This game rules and so long as there at least one other player I am going to smoke his ass.

@FabiioPrime @lockecole777 @pinknishii After doing some digging online, apparently the game is being reported being unoptimized for more than a year already and ONLY (AFAI've seen) on the PC port of the game. So it's nothing new that the game is badly optimized on pc and apparently NetEase has no plans to fix it

Another 5 gigabytes to the storage space every week cause they add random stuff like a whole animated bird to the game. PLEASE can we sort out the game's file size, I just cannot keep it installed at this rate

I do wish people would stop treating “show don’t tell” as a hard line rule for fiction. This isn’t a defense of JJK but there are instances where telling is more effective. Like in Souls games when you are told/read what a character or kingdom was like in its prime. Allowing your imagination to fill the gaps with your own interpretation. A picture can paint a thousand words but your imagination can paint a thousand pictures.
