UPDATE The missing person Mackinzee Vaughn from yesterday has been located and is safe.

We are asking the public for help in locating Mackinzee Vaughn. Mackinzee was last seen March 1st and is believed to be in Kansas City MO

ROADS BLOCKED BY DOWNED TREES: Harry Truman East of Byars, 129th West of Byars, Kelly Road South of HWY 150. Crews are on the way to clear these trees but it will take some time. Crews are also out salting roads and intersections which are icy. Drive carefully out there.

Congratulations to Officer Altom! For his outstanding work with people in a mental health crisis, he was recognized as the MACIT (Mid-American Council) CIT Officer of the year for Grandview AND CIT Officer of the year for the ENTIRE KC METRO. Grandview is fortunate to have him.

Icy conditions have caused multiple accidents on I49 and MO150 in Grandview. Many lanes are partially blocked. For your safety and the safety of our officers and firefighters working these accidents, please delay your start time this morning.
