Residents have been learning about Jamaican history as part of #BlackHistoryMonth and the story behind Jerk, with a traditional Jamaican meal of Jerk chicken, rice & beans with fried plantain followed by Jamaican black cake

Our residents are happy to be back in the communal spaces enjoying seeing old & new faces #togetheragain

Guildford Grange residents today enjoyed their first lunch club in the dining room since the new catering company arrived. The residents really embraced the opportunity to see each other at a safe social distance, beautiful food in great company #signaturedining

Signature Dining have taken our the catering service at Guildford Grange serving a collection or delivery service to our residents. Our Head Chef Mengeh is serving delicious Gammon today. The residents are loving it!

Whilst our communal lounge is closed, we decided to take the opportunity to give the space a fresh updated look, and we are very pleased with the result.

We had a door to door Macmillan coffee day residents could buy cakes in COVID safe way. Jane won a Christmas house for guessing how many sprinkles on Colin the caterpillar. We raised £138, which an amazing amount and it brought smiles to our residents too @macmillancoffee
