@helloPeabody @Hackmuth You can tell me how I get help with a property issue. We have had water coming into our flat for 10 years and your well trained and polite staff offer platitudes and no action. The insurance survey this week says the walls and ceilings are so wet it will take 6 to 8 weeks to dry.

@Hackmuth @PeabodySales Sadly leaseholders have no point of contact and seemingly no rights in Peabody. Our purchase had been disastrous and very expensive and stressful.

@Hackmuth @helloPeabody We bought our flat. That was a huge mistake, we were under the illusion that being leaseholders in a big organisation would be safe. We cannot sell the flat, we are trapped by running water snd hostile neighbours who are Peabody tenants.

@Hackmuth @helloPeabody I am determined to get Peabody to respond. We have absolutely no rights as leaseholders and are sitting in a flat that has no resale value at all. We must be able to get help from someone! Surely?

Of course she's brilliant and working with her is the greatest blessing a scruffy music teacher like me could dream of. But Lucy is what happens when you make instrumental tuition available to disadvantaged children. Help us to get this message across to those who decide.

@Hackmuth @helloPeabody @hackmuth when was the article? Thank you for this depressing read! We are at a loss after 10 years of trying to get help.

@helloPeabody We did not have a great weekend because once again the flat above us left the taps running and we are once again dealing with water ingress. No one bothers to reply. No one is interested as we are leaseholders and have few if any rights.

Friday Treat Time and a gorgeous wool and mohair machine-knitted cardigan from 1978 by celebrated knitwear designer #KayCosserat. January is definitely a month for sporting stylish knitwear and British designer Cosserat (1947-2003) always provides the perfect inspiration! 🧶

You can buy essentials like nappies and food for a mum at one of our refuges. It takes 2 minutes.

@Vicky_McClure @alzheimerssoc You are right to go on raising awareness about dementia as it has fallen on deaf parliamentary ears for many years. An MP who was keen to raise awareness told us that a petition can be seen as one letter signed by many. He said get everyone to write to their MP individually

@Tom_Grennan It makes me profoundly depressed to hear people say there is no help. There should be lots of help. What are the Alzheimer’s Society doing for them? Why are they so low profile?

@Vicky_McClure @OurDemChoir @Tom_Grennan A great programme promoting a messsge that someone must hear. Sadly successive governments ignore the plight of people with dementia and their carers. It is so disheartening. Same year in, year out.

@Tom_Grennan @Vicky_McClure At last you have asked Why is the Alzheimer’s Society not actively promoting help for people with dementia. Music has been known for years to help stimulate the memory. Song is the first sound that every race in the world hears.
