I went from being a 5’4 100 pound high school freshman told I could never play college ball...to breaking 5 school records my senior year-becoming the first player in school history to be featured in the Chicago Sun-Times. Still, I was told wasn’t good enough play at a high level. I walked on at 17 years old-JUCO, betting on myself, redshirted & earned a scholarship by spring. The next year… I fractured my collarbone, lost my season, every coach recruiting me, & dealt with a death close to me that hurt me bad. Was at the lowest point of my life, transferred JUCOs, then lost the staff that recruited me & eventually I had nowhere to play. I went home & started working security, I still trained every day after work like I had a season.I kept my head down-stayed ready. Praying to God & got an opportunity to play in game. Don’t ever allow someone to limit your goals.. I never quit. Because I Truly love this game more than life itself. I’m Grateful for every coach I met throughout my college journey & I’m thankful for my family & friends who supported me.❤️ With that being said, I’m proud to say 1000% committed to… Chicago State University🟢⚪️🐾 I’m Home, Lets make history!!! #AGTG #NoExcuses
