Right but men’s fans are the toxic ones. Someday you’ll step foot in Storrs for the first time and realize how the women are treated just as well (if not better!) by fans, the university, and students.
Disrespectful to Hannah Hidalgo tbh. But she's just the best 2 way player the sport has ever seen. Again, if Mikayla Blakes doesn't win it, don't look at this award as anything meaningful post 2025.

This is not a thing you should feel. Both the men’s and the women’s teams are the most successful teams in men’s and women’s college hoops, respectively over the last 30 years. They’re equal here in CT and if you don’t know that you don’t know enough to be speaking on this at all

@Grapedebate Frankly, I don’t see a ton of men’s-preferring fans shitting on the women’s team. It’s usually just wishing them well but choosing to not follow as closely. It’s much more frequent that I see women’s-preferring fans acting like the men’s program is some irrelevant loser program.
@Grapedebate Think the major point you’re missing is that while many UConn fans follow either the women or men more closely than the other, the vast vast majority don’t actively put down or hate on the other team.
UConn is the only arena that's regularly filled for women's games. And the women's only fans STILL complain about lack of attention. Shut. The fuck. Up. Everyone already knows you're winning every game by 30, by the way. Hard to be invested in that for most...
