3:59pm UPDATE: the highway is now open.

SH-121 Northbound at the I-635 split is currently closed due to a vehicle accident. Due to a diesel fuel leak, this is a hazmat situation. All traffic is being diverted to Eastbound SH-114. Drivers are to expect delays for an extensive period while cleanup is underway.

HIGHWAY CLOSURE Our officers responded to an 18-wheeler crash on W 114 EB. Due to the icy conditions, the incident resulted in a multi-vehicle crash. Fortunately, there are no injuries to report. This has resulted in the full shutdown of the highway for at least 2 hours.

The scammer uses a fake email address to target churchgoers by impersonating their pastor. They are asked to purchase gift cards as a donation. Once purchased, the scammer requests the card numbers to be emailed. If targeted, contact our non-emergency line at 817-410-8127.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Due to consistently large crowds, the City of Grapevine has decided to extend the closure of Main Street from vehicular traffic, from Dec. 23 at 6 a.m. through Monday, Dec 29 at 6 a.m.

Traffic alert: Northbound lanes of SH-121 are shut down just south of Freeport Parkway due to an 18-wheeler crash. Only minor injuries, but expect delays this evening.

Westbound SH-114 is closed at William D Tate due to a crash involving an 18-wheeler. The truck’s cab is on fire. The driver escaped unharmed. The SH-121 northbound flyover to westbound SH-114 is also closed due to visibility from smoke. Please plan for delays on access roads.
