Treasure shipped agent lending yesterday. Looks like this project cranked out our “next steps” in Claude Code. Anyway, this design is terrible and shouldn’t be used. You can’t build a protocol involving liquidations around trench coins. That’s absurd on face. It’s also not an improvement on Morpho besides allowing highly risk collateral to be used. Halo Finance v1 is live now and different from Compound v3 in a meaningful way. Because agents have more predictable onchain behavior than humans and credit scores, we can make programmable rules for borrowing more akin to variable rates in real world borrowing.
