@PowellsLeftArm Camp grounds near national parks are sold already. Overall crowds last summer receded. Avoid weekends or the large festivals / event weeks for fewereople. New, Modern camps like Campfire Ranch in Gunnison are fun options. Dispersed camping will not be as crazy as 20/21 summers.

For years I've avoided the Colorado mountains in summer to avoid crowds, but I'm eager to show my kids the high country in a good water year. What am I up against if I go to the San Juans in June? Parking battles at trailheads? Will every campsite and motel room be booked?

It's the winter that keeps on giving... My fingers and eyes are starting to hurt after all the model analysis I've been doing the last week. And it's so not over yet. Another 3 - 6 FT is looking quite likely over Ol' Wooly by next Thursday! I hope you're ready @MammothMountain!
