@Feargal_Sharkey It's deliberate, they'll stop doing it if we all agree to another 30% rise in our water bills so they can "upgrade their infrastucture". You guys see that right ? That our utility companies are owned and run by gangland criminals.

"'River of raw sewage' pours down UK street with 'biohazard' faeces flooding road and path." First it was Horbury in Yorkshire, then Margate in Kent, now Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, is there a single stretch of the sewage system anywhere in the country operating as expected? mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/r…

So it's clear that BA.3.2 preferentially infects children, something we have never seen before in a SARS-CoV-2 variant. Why? The question's baffled me, but after a suggestion from Darren Martin, I think I have an explanation that makes sense. 1/16
Ryan Hisner@LongDesertTrain

There's not much BA.3.2 in the US yet, but the numbers are still pretty striking. Ages 0-18 are more than 5 times as common in BA.3.2 sequences as in non-BA.3.2 sequences. USA, 2026, Feb 1 to present (Mar 23), non-travel non-BA.3.2, 139/1172 (11.9%) BA.3.2 26/41 (63.4%)

Whaaat. This explains the peak in kids in Scotland in January 😮😮 I'm so excited I haven't even read the whole thread yet. I love it when mysteries are solved.... Here goes....

There's going to be a spate of fires at houses with plug-in solar panels in coming months and years, that experts will be "baffled" about.

@chillyrainbow @A1an_M I don't need to be sure. EcoFlow design engineers and the IEE regulators probably know better than you or me

@A1an_M That’s my concern. Think about old consumer units. They were designed in a time this tech was never dreamt of. Surely they’re not designed to have voltage travelling the opposite way.

@AndyGJBurge @dhlexpressuk Standard model for delivery companies and perfected by DPD. We now make a point of trying not to buy from online companies due to this. Delivery companies have become a drag on the economy.

Dear DHL Express UK @dhlexpressuk, Until 123.30pm today I was very impressed with your service. Your tracking service was first class and I was in and eagerly ready to take delivery of a valuable Apple UK online shipment that required a signature Then it all went horribly wrong. I could see I was the next call so I waited for the knock on the door. Your courier did not knock on the door and worse than that, they lied outright by reporting that they had attempted delivery but that nobody was in. I had a visitor with me so a witness can testify as to the truth of this. This is frankly appalling and tight schedule or no tight schedule, there is no excuse for this behaviour. Your courier had my mobile number and could easily have spent 30 seconds calling me to see if I was in but they didn't do this. What do you intend to do about this issue? Details of tracking number etc availably via DM. You may rest assured that Apple @AppleSupport will be fully informed about this.

GOP Rep. Mary Franson says she's not worried about climate change because it's not in the Bible: "If you've read the Good Book, you know how it ends, and it's not with climate change." How can we expect Republicans to do serious work when they're so proud about ignoring science?

Graarggh. You still don't get it. It doesn't matter if you convince them a specific disease is airborne. They think it's good to catch airborne diseases. The thing you need to convince them about is that those diseases are harmful.
