Being 50% through internship has made me reflect on ‘what I have learnt so far’. I made a list of 10 things that I will hopefully continue to add to/ tweak as I continue to work. I’ve realised that it’s true when they say Medicine is far, far more than textbook knowledge.

Yesterday I (virtually) graduated Medicine! I am so grateful for the ongoing support from loved ones, mentors and teachers that enabled me to get to this point - I would certainly not be here without them. Now to begin the career I have dreamt of since the age of 4 🩺

In true 2020 style, I am attending my graduation from medical school over a Zoom webinar in my pajamas. Wearing a graduation hat though 🎓

I’m so excited that the lockdown is ending in Victoria but I want people to remember for many the lockdown continues. For refugees in detention they remain locked up. For people seeking asylum and international students they remain lockdown by poverty & inequality. This must end.
