Democrats demand release of files, Republicans agree, propose a bill, only to have a Democrat judge and Dems politicians block it. Dems does this, hoping that people will believe Trump has something to hide, while they’re the ones blocking the release of the files in the background. It’s the same old game they always play. Create a problem, draw attention to the problem, claim that somebody else is at blame for the problem and then claim you can only fix the problem if they vote for you.
