Over 2 months ago my Dad entered ICU for a heart operation. Sadly due to infections & complications he's still there. Tomorrow he'll need another operation to deal with a side effect. This is tough going for a 79 year old & equally so for mum. All prayers appreciated.

Last week Power The Fight launched the Therapeutic Intervention for Peace (TIP) Report, a presentation of the school’s work we have conducted over the last year. Later that evening we launched our Patron’s Circle. WHAT IS THE PATRON’S CIRCLE? A week ago we put out the groundbreaking Protecting Young Black Lives, Celebrating Black Professionals report. This is the culmination of two years of work, in partnership with @CumberlandLodge, @powerthefightuk and the @C_S_Network at Durham University. It focuses on two key matters: issues that currently compromise the safety of young Black people, and the contributions made by Black professionals who are committed to keeping them safe. The report follows a conference of the same name that took place in October 2023. The event brought together 50 Black professionals from a range of sectors and disciplines; the first time @cumberlandlodge had hosted an event for Black professionals and the first time many participants had been in a Black majority work environment.
