She was likely defending herself against him. He probably started recording to make sure only that part was filmed after he started being abusive. It’s clear this is retaliatory and she’s not all there. Not excusing her behaviour but this is a classic move men use to gaslight women who are being abused.

For the first time in its history, the ONE PIECE anime is moving to a seasonal format. The ELBAF ISLAND ARC will start with 26 episodes split into two parts/cours for the first season. The Japanese broadcast will begin on Sunday, April 5, 2026. However, Netflix has yet to announce a release date for the anime.
